Joseph Colaccino

Joe started his NRC career in 1990 as a mechanical engineer in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.  He started working in NRR's New Reactor Licensing Project Office in 2003 and has held a number of positions related to new reactor licensing as well as construction oversight.  His current position includes collateral duties to advise on the Part 52 rulemaking as well as developing a procedure to the "103(g) finding" that all ITAAC have been met, after which the licensee is allowed to operate the facility.
