Joe Halackna

Joe Halackna is the chief technologist for Westinghouse on microreactor applications, eVinci and AstroVinci.  He has spent the last six years developing Westinghouse's portfolio of technology with a focus on our heat pipes. and related reactor design and power conversion systems   Before working on the eVinci program he began his career with 10 years working across Westinghouse mechanical engineering teams on the AP1000.   Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh.
