Jason Carneal

Jason joined the NRC in 2008 as a project manager in the Office of New Reactors. He has performed various roles at the agency, including in-service testing mechanical engineer, rulemaking project manager, and reactor systems engineer.  Since 2018 his primary focus has been on advancing the operating experience data analytics program at NRC.

Jason graduated from Virgina Tech with bachelor's and master's degrees in Engineering Mechanics. Prior to joining the NRC, he worked as a mechanical engineer and naval architect for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division.
