NRC POSTPONES MEETINGS ON INDIAN POINT I DECOMMISSIONING

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff has postponed a meeting planned for tomorrow night regarding the decommissioning of Indian Point 1 nuclear power plant in Buchanan, N.Y. The meeting had been scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Cortlandt Town Hall in Cortlandt, N.Y.

There was a conflict in the arrangements for a meeting hall.

A second meeting on decommissioning scheduled for October 21 at the Buchanan Village Hall has also been postponed.

A meeting on decommissioning will be scheduled at a later date.
