NOTE TO EDITORS:

A subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) has scheduled a meeting on February 3 in Rockville, Maryland, to continue its review of proposed improvements to the senior management meeting process.

The meeting of the Subcommittee on Plant Operations, which will be open to public observation, will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room T-2B3, of the NRC's Two White Flint North Building at 11545 Rockville Pike.

Other aspects of the meeting, including an opportunity for public comment, will be described in a Notice of Meeting published in a forthcoming edition of the Federal Register.
