Discussion:

Detroit Edison's Nuclear Generation Vice President Bill O'Connor announced today that he intends to retire at the end of this year. No successor has been named, but in theinterim, his duties will be assumed by Doug Gipson, Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO). Mr.O'Connor said that by making his announcement now, he can use the next 2 1/2 months toensure a smooth transition.

Discussion:

On October 14, 2005, AEP announced that Mark Peifer has been named as Vice President of Site Support Services. Mr. Peifer will oversee Training, Business Services, Security and Emergency Planning, Material Management, Information Technology, Procedures, and Nuclear Document Management. Mr. Peifer came from Nuclear Management Company where he formerly was the Site Vice President at Duane Arnold. He also held managerial and executive positions with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
