On July 11, 2002, FirstEnergy announced that the following management
changes will be effective on July 15, 2002.

John Messina, presently Director of Work Management at Davis-Besse, will
become the Director of Support Services at Perry.

Mike Stevens, presently the Maintenance Manager at Davis-Besse, will
become the Director of Work Management at Davis-Besse.

Bob Schrauder, presently Director of Life Cycle Management, will become
Director of Support Services at Davis-Besse.

Dave Eshelman, presently Director of Support Services at Davis-Besse,
will become Director of Life Cycle Management at Davis-Besse.
