Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

On August 14, 2001, Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) announced that
Mr. John P. McElwain has been named Site Vice President of the Turkey
Point nuclear power plant effective September 4, 2001.  Mr. McElwain
previously served as Senior Vice President for North East Regional
Operating Group of Exelon Generation. He replaces Mr. Bob Hovey who
recently resigned to take the position of Vice President - Nuclear
Operations for Exelon Corporation.  Mr. McElwain will report to Mr. Art
Stall, Senior Vice President of Nuclear Operations.
