This notice was issued to all portable gauge licensees to inform them of recent thefts of portable gauges, and to remind them of their responsibilities to prevent loss and damage to portable gauges. He will report to Mr. Schrock. Mano Nazar, formerly the plant manager at Oconee, will join the NMC on August 1 and will succeed Mr. Sorensen after a turnover at Prairie Island of a few months. Effective on July 1, 2001, Douglas Cooper was promoted from plant general manager to site vice president for Palisades. He succeeds Mr. Cowan, who was acting site vice president for the plant's parent utility, Consumers Energy. In addition, Daniel Malone, director of engineering, replaces Mr. Cooper as plant general manager. Regional Action: None.
