Subject: UNIT 1 CORE RELOAD

Discussion:

On November 17, 2000, at 4:46 p.m. (ET), Unit 1 entered Mode 6
(Refueling), when the first fuel assembly for the upcoming fuel cycle was
placed into the Unit 1 reactor vessel. The licensee completed core reload
on Monday, November 20, at 2:33 a.m. Restart of Unit 1 is currently
scheduled for December 2000.
