Subject: AMEREN UE SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

On October 13, 2000, the licensee announced that effective Monday,
October 16, Mr. G. L. Randolph will assume the position of Senior Vice
President and Chief Nuclear Officer of Ameren UE, continuing to report to
Mr. C. W. Mueller, Chairman, President and CEO.  Mr. R. D. Affolter has
been promoted to Vice President - Nuclear, reporting to Mr. Randolph.
Also effective October 16, Mr. Warren A. Witt was promoted to Manager,
Callaway Plant, replacing Mr. Affolter.  Mr. Witt will report directly to
Mr. Affolter.
