Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

Carolina Power & Light (CP&L) announced on September 22, 2000, that
Tom Walt currently Robinson Plant General Manager will become Robinson
Director of Site Operations (DSO).  Tim Cleary, currently Robinson
Operations Manager will become Robinson Plant General Manager.  Tom Walt
replaces John Moyer who will replace Dale Young as Robinson Site Vice
President.  Dale Young will become the Crystal River Site Vice President.

The changes will be effective when the CP&L acquisition of Florida
Progress is final.
