Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

On August 23, 2000, the licensee announced the following management
changes which will become effective Monday, August 28, 2000.

Dennis Reed, General Manager Nuclear Support at Southern Nuclear Company
in Birmingham will retire.  Terry Moore, Assistant General Manager, Plant
Support, Hatch, will replace him.  Joe Betsill, Assistant General
Manager, Operations, will replace Terry Moore.  Dennis Madison,
Operations Manager, will replace Joe Betsill as Assistant General
Manager, Operations.
