Subject: VIRGINIA POWER ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

Virginia Electric and Power Company announced the following appointments
effective immediately:  Mr. David A. Christian, Vice President-Nuclear
Operations, has been named Senior Vice President-Nuclear.  Mr. Christian
also assumes the company's Chief Nuclear Officer position held by
Mr. James P. O'Hanlon, President and Chief Operating Officer of Dominion
Generation.  Mr. William R. Matthews, North Anna Site Vice President will
replace Mr. Christian as Vice President-Nuclear Operations.  Mr. David A.
Heacock, North Anna Manager-Station Operations & Maintenance will replace
Mr. Matthews as North Anna Site Vice President.  Mr. Chris L. Funderburk,
North Anna Manager-Station Nuclear Safety and Licensing will replace
Mr. Heacock as North Anna Manager-Station Operations & Maintenance.
Mr. Jimmy Hayes will replace Mr. Funderburk as acting North Anna
Manager-Nuclear Safety and Licensing.
