Subject: SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGE AT SUSQUEHANNA

Discussion:

On February 17, 2000, Pennsylvania Power and Light Company (PPL)
announced the appointment of Ronald L. Ceravolo as general manager of the
Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (SSES) to be effective as of February
28, 2000. He replaces Bryce Shriver, who had been promoted to Vice
President- Nuclear Site Operations in January 2000. Mr. Ceravolo has 30
years of experience with naval and commercial nuclear power plants. For
the last three years he has served as Senior Management Representative at
SSES for the Institute of Nuclear Plant Operations (INPO). Mr Ceravolo
will remain an employee of INPO under the provisions of INPO's reverse
loaned employee program.

Regional Action:

PP&L informed the NRC Region I Management and the NRC resident inspectors
of this management change.
