Information Notice 99-29, "AUTHORIZED CONTENTS OF SPENT FUEL CASKS," was
issued on October 28, 1999.

This notice was issued to all power reactor and spent fuel storage
licensees to alert them to pay close attention to the authorized contents
of spent fuel casks, especially when considering the loading of burnable
poison rod assemblies (BRPAs) and thimble plugging devices (TPDs) with
spent fuel.  The authorized contents are specified in the certificate of
compliance for the cask, or in the 10 CFR Part 72 license.

Subject: OYSTER CREEK MANAGEMENT CHANGES

Discussion:

GPU announced today that Mike Roche, Vice President and Director, Oyster
Creek, is transferring out of GPU Nuclear to accept an appointment as
Senior Vice President of GPU Energy.

Sander Levin, Director, Operations and Maintenance will serve as the
Oyster Creek Site Director on an interim basis. Mr. Levin will continue
in his role as the Director, Operations and Maintenance.

Mr. Roche will immediately begin some aspects of his new assignment and
is expected to completely transfer all his Oyster Creek responsibilities
by the end of the year.

This information was announced to Oyster Creek employees this morning.
