Subject: MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Discussion:

On September 20, 1999, Duke Energy Corporation announced that effective
November 1, 1999, Mr. Mac Geddie will assume responsibility for
management of the Duke Nuclear Supply Chain organization.  Mr. Geddie is
currently the station manager at the McGuire Nuclear Station.  Mr. Dhiaa
Jamil will replace Mr. Geddie as station manager.  Mr. Jamil is currently
the maintenance superintendent at McGuire.
