Subject: SENIOR MANAGEMENT CHANGE AT SUSQUEHANNA

Discussion:

On August 31, 1999, Pennsylvania Power and Light Company (PPL) announced
the appointment of Bryce L. Shriver as general manager of the Susquehanna
Steam Electric Station. He replaces George Kuczynski, who was reassigned
in July 1999. Mr. Shriver has 25 years of experience with naval and
commercial nuclear power plants. He most recently served as the
assistant plant manager of the Tennessee Valley Authority's Browns Ferry
Nuclear Plant.

Regional Action:

PPL informed the NRC Region I Management and the NRC resident inspectors
of this management change.
