Subject: REFUELING OUTAGE COMPLETED

Discussion:

On April 2, 1999, Waterford 3 entered Mode 1 after completion of their
ninth refueling outage. The outage was completed in 41 days. The major
activities completed during the outage included: replacement of the Train
B startup transfomer, eddy current testing of the steam generator tubes,
and replacement of an inverter in one train of the station
uninterruptible power system. The outage was completed with no
safety-significant problems identified.
