AGREEMENT STATE REPORT - POSSIBLE NUCLEAR MATERIAL FOUND
The following information was received via E-mail:
"On 6/7/2019, a worker installing equipment contacted the BRC [Bureau of Radiation Control] in regards to what he believed to be radioactive material. He stated that he found a 'hot room' with boxes marked 'radioactive' that were abandoned. Due to the address, [the material] likely belongs to the listed licensee. Inspectors have been notified to contact the worker installing equipment and investigate."

* * * UPDATE FROM MATTHEW SENISON (VIA EMAIL) TO HOWIE CROUCH AT 1100 EDT ON 6/12/19 * * *
The following information was obtained from the state of Florida via email:
"Upon arrival at the facility, inspector performed a radiation and contamination survey which did not reveal any levels above background. There were various shielded containers (sharps, calibration source, pharmacy transport, etc.), however there were no sources or residual radioactive material in them. All materials will be disposed of or recycled as required. Inspector removed all the Radioactive Material and Radiation Area signs and confirmed that there were no x-ray machines on site. No further action will be taken, this incident is closed."
