LOSS OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE DATA SYSTEM DUE TO PLANNED SOFTWARE MODIFICATION

There will be a "loss of U3 ERDADS data retrieval capability to Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) link due to a planned software modification to the U3 ERDADS computer. The expected duration of the loss of capability is 3 hours."

The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector.

* * * UPDATE FROM M.A. NEWTON TO P. SNYDER AT 2022 ON 12/8/05 * * *

"Unit 3 ERDADS data retrieval capability to ERDS link due a planned software modification to Unit 3 ERDADS computer has been restored. The total duration for this loss of capability was 6 hours." The system was returned to service at 2004.

The licensee will notify the NRC Resident Inspector.
