| REMOTE TONE ALERT RADIO SYSTEM ACTIVATION FUNCTIONAL TEST FAILURE |
| |
| Primary and backup systems failed during the weekly functional test. The |
| licensee was able to activate the tone alert system locally at the 18 minute |
| point from the start of the test. However, they are required to be able |
| to activate the system within 15 minutes. |

| Personnel have been designated to activate the system locally if necessary. |
| Repairs to the remote activation equipment are in progress. |
| |
| The licensee notified the NRC resident inspector. |

| HPCI INOPERABLE |
| |
| Upon opening MO-2036 during the performance of a HPCI surveillance, a HPCI |
| turbine inlet high drain pot level alarm was received. HPCI was declared |
| inoperable. The alarm cleared 17 minutes after initiation. HPCI is |
| available if called upon. |
| |
| An operability test will be run prior to declaring HPCI operable. The |
| licensee will notify the NRC resident inspector. |
