Opening Statement (BJG/RKM) The Chairman will open the meeting with brief opening remarks, outline the topics to be discussed, and indicate several items of interest. 2) 8:40 - 11:00 A.M. ACNW Planning and Procedures (Open) (BJG/HJL) 2.1) Preview issues for 112th ACNW meeting 2.2) Finalize agenda for 113th ACNW meeting, October 12-14, 1999 2.3) Discuss topics for out months November, December 2.4) Outline plans for Yucca Mountain DEIS review 2.5) Review Commission and/or EDO responses to Committee letters (as applicable) 10:30-10:45 A.M. ***BREAK*** 2.6) Recent and planned attendance at outside meetings 2.7) Review proposed CY2000 Committee meeting dates 2.8) Report on new Committee member and consultant solicitation 2.9) Potential Commission Briefing topics. 3) 11:00 - 12:30 Decommissioning SRP Dose Modeling (Open) (RGW/HJL) These presentations will also include a discussion as to how the NRC will use and integrate these tools. 3.1) Introduction (N. Risk Communication (Open) (BJG/LGD) The ACNW will discuss plans for the proposed Nevada public outreach sessions. 6) 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Preparation of ACNW Reports (Open) (All) 6.1) White paper on Near-field Chemistry Considerations (RGW/ACC) 6.2) Report on Joint ACRS/ACNW Committee on NMSS approach to RIPBR (BJG/ACC)

Camper) will provide an overview of their FY2000 operating plan as well as their plans and priorities in the decommissioning program. This information will assist the Committee in finalizing its FY2000 Action Plan. 9) 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. Decommissioning SRP (Open) (RGW/HJL) 9.1) Status of SRP modules and staff approaches to implementing the SRP (N. Orlando) 9.2) Status of development and testing of DandD, Resrad and SEDSS modeling efforts (RES) 11:00 - 12:30 P.M. ***BREAK/LUNCH*** 10) 12::30 - 1:30 P.M. Results of the Arthur Andersen Review of DWM Activities (Open) (BJG/RKM) The Deputy Director, NMSS (M. Virgilio), will discuss the results of recent strategic planning activities within the Division of Waste Management and potential impacts on ACNW activities. 11) 1:30 - 5:30 P.M.
