Presubmittal Meeting with Nebraska Public Power District Regarding an Emergency Plan License Amendment Request for Cooper Nuclear Station

The purpose of this meeting between Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a pending license amendment request for Cooper Nuclear Station to revise the plant’s Emergency Plan in accordance with the requirements of NUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1, Revision 2, “Criteria for Preparation and Evaluation of Radiological Emergency Response Plans and Preparedness in Support of Nuclear Power Plants.”
