Baseline Security Inspection Program Revisions

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss key revisions to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) security baseline inspection program. The staff will discuss Inspection Procedure 71130.15, “Security Operations,” Inspection Procedure 71130.16, “Security Performance,” and Inspection Procedure 71130.17, “Force-on-Force” that will be effective July 1, 2026. The staff will discuss the structure of the inspection procedures, sample selection, and expectations for inspector implementation. Participants will be provided the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification.
