Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is for Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and industry to go through tabletop exercises for discussions related to implementation of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) draft graded approach for power uprate reviews (specifically binning), for planned power uprate applications for a pressurized water reactor (PWR) and boiling water reactor (BWR). NRC staff will also discuss proposed revisions and refinements to the graded approach for power uprate review guidance based on external stakeholder feedback.
