Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss an alternative for in-service testing of certain sump pumps in Catawba, Units 1 and 2. Specifically, Duke Energy will present information on the plant design constraints that preclude the measurement of differential pressure as required by ASME OM Code Sections ISTB-3430 and ISTB-5223, and will describe the proposed approach for flow rate measurement. The meeting will address the regulatory basis for seeking relief under 10 CFR 50.55a(f)(5)(iv).
