Purpose
The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for the NRC and the industry to discuss ongoing efforts to improve PRA Realism. This is a continuation of the workshop originally scheduled for September 30-October 1 that was interrupted due to the government shutdown. Topics will include presentations on PRA modeling applications, operating experience, external hazards, human reliability analysis, regulatory and oversight applications, realism for advanced reactors and public perspectives.

This public workshop will be held in a hybrid format (on-site and remote). Starting Sept. 1, 2025, Federal employees/contractors may access NRC HQ using a kiosk and PIV card. All other visitors must pre-register by Dec. 22, 2025—no walk-ins allowed. To attend in person, email Michelle.gonzalez@nrc.gov. Non-U.S. citizens must present a valid passport at screening and email a copy to InternationalVisitor.Resource@nrc.gov at least 12 business days before arrival.
