The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed exemption request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Units 1, 2, and 3, from Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 50.55a(a)(3)(iii) in order to apply American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code for Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants Code Case OMN 31, “Alternative to Allow Extension of ISTA 3120 Inservice Examination and Test Intervals from 10 Years to 12 Years.”
