Purpose
The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed license amendment request that would revise Browns Ferry Technical Specification 3.3.2.1, “Control Rod Block Instrumentation,” to allow reactor starup with the rod worth minimizer inoperable.
