Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The NRC will hold a partially closed public meeting to discuss physical security-related topics of interest. The open portion of the meeting will provide an update on the NRC’s physical security-related initiatives under Section 507 of the ADVANCE Act and to provide feedback to recommendations for Section 507 shared by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) during the January 29, 2025, Reactor Oversight Program bimonthly public meeting.

The second portion of the meeting will be closed due to the discussion of security-related information associated with feedback provided to the NRC on the implementation of Commission direction from SRM-COMSECY-19-0006, “Revised Security Inspection Program Framework.” Specifically, the closed portion of the meeting will discuss comments received from NEI on the NRC’s draft Inspection Procedures 71130.03, “Contingency Response – Force on Force Testing” and 71130.05, “Protective Strategy Evaluation and Performance Evaluation Program.”
