To engage with the public to explain the NRC staff’s regulatory approach to proposing to amend its regulations on categorical exclusions for licensing, regulatory, and administrative actions that individually or cumulatively do not have a significant effect on the human environment. To describe the rulemaking, and to answer questions to facilitate meaningful comments on the proposed rule.
