Purpose

The purpose of this meeting between Arizona Public Service Company (APS, the licensee) and U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss Relief Requests 71 and 72 related to license renewal for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1. These proposed Relief Requests supersede previously approved requests that expire at the end of the original operating license (June 1, 2025) and request approval to continue through the period of extended operation (June 1, 2045).
