Purpose
The purpose of this pre-submittal meeting is for Holtec Decommissioning International, LLC (HDI) to discuss with the NRC staff a proposal to approve the Biasi Critical Heat Flux Correlation for use with the Main Steam Line Break (MSLB) Analysis at the Palisades Nuclear Plant.

This change will be made via a license amendment request to adopt a new NRC Topical Report, titled EMF-2310 (P)(A), Revision 1, Supplement 2P-A, Revision 0, “SRP Chapter 15 Non-Loss of Coolant Accident Methodology for Pressurized Water Reactors,” dated March 2023 (ADAMS Accession No. ML23023A189).

Note that a portion of this meeting will be closed to the public as the topical report contains Proprietary Information in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390.
