Purpose
A panel of experts will discuss a recent report written by PNNL evaluating the key data needs to evaluate storage and transportation of spent nuclear fuel of various accident tolerant fuel concepts. The panel will make recommendations to improve this report and then will complete phenomena identification and ranking tables related to damage mechanisms that should be considered in the safety evaluations of storage and transportation of spent fuel with accident tolerant fuel features. Discussions will be led by NRC contractors.
