The purpose of this meeting between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a presubmittal of a license amendment request that would modify Technical Specification (TS) 3.1.1.4 (Reactivity Control Systems, Moderator Temperature Coefficient, Limiting Condition for Operation) for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 and TS 3.1.1.3 (Reactivity Control Systems, Moderator Temperature Coefficient, Limiting Condition for Operation) for Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 by adopting the Improved Standard Technical Specification (ISTS) 3.1.3, "Moderator Temperature Coefficient (MTC) (Analog)," content. The proposed change would eliminate the reference from the TS surveillance requirement to perform the MTC verification that is consistent with the ISTS.
