Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting, between Energy Northwest (the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss a proposed request for revising the Emergency Plan (EP) for Columbia Generating Station. The licensee will align and format the EP consistent with the new demonstration criteria and level of detail, and remove non-essential emergency response organization (ERO) positions from the EP. This request will not include any changes to the current NRC approved ERO on-shift staffing in support of a 90 minute augmentation. Following NRC approval, the use of 10 CFR 50.54(q) will continue for evaluations of changes to the EP.
