Purpose

The purpose of this presubmittal meeting, between Arizona Public Service Company (APS) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss APS's planned license amendment request(s) (LAR(s)) regarding containment temperature in Technical Specification (TS) 3.6.5 and safety injection tank volume in TSs 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3. The discussion will also address the option of including both changes in one LAR.
