The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to solicit external stakeholders’ feedback on the NRC staff’s SECY-22-0076 to expand the current policy in SRM to SECY 93-097, to address common-cause failures in digital I&C systems. The meeting will include a presentation by the NRC staff to explain and fully engage the stakeholders in a discussion of the SECY paper. The opinions, perspectives, and feedback received at this meeting will be used to inform the development of follow-up regulatory activities and actions.
