Purpose
The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed license amendment request for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, and Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, to allow operation of one safety injection pump and one charging pump for testing in Mode 5 or Mode 6 when the reactor vessel head is on.
