Purpose
The purpose of this partially closed teleconference between Union Electric Company, dba Ameren Missouri (the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss the licensee's upcoming submittal for a license amendment request for approval to insert Framatome’s GAIA fuel assemblies in its core in reload quantities for Callaway Plant, Unit No. 1. This meeting for the Callaway Vendor Qualification Program (VQP) is intended to serve multiple purposes. The VQP covers all the licensing analyses to support fuel reload transition to a new vendor.
