Purpose
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES), in cooperation with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), working under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Cooperative Nuclear Safety Research, will sponsor workshops related to the development of fire probabilistic risk assessments (PRAs). Training will cover the methodology presented in "EPRI/NRC-RES Fire PRA Methodology for Nuclear Power Facilities" (NUREG/CR-6850/EPRI 1011989) and follow on publications.
Each session will be approximately 3 to 4 hours long and will start at 10:00 AM (EST).
