Purpose
The NRC staff is hosting another webinar to provide an opportunity for external stakeholders and the NRC staff to exchange information on the NRC’s development of Part 53 preliminary proposed rule language for advanced nuclear reactors.
The NRC staff will have a discussion on changes to previously released Part 53 preliminary proposed rule language for Subparts B, “Technology-Inclusive Safety Requirements,” and C, “Design and Analysis Requirements.” This document is available in ADAMS under accession number ML21083A031.
The NRC staff will discuss Part 53 preliminary proposed rule language for Subpart E, “Construction and Manufacturing,” which is available in the NRC ADAMS as a “Discussion Table.” This document is available in ADAMS under accession number ML21042B855.

No regulatory decisions will be made during the meeting.
