Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss SNC's planned license amendment requests (LARs) for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2; and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2. The LARs would revise each plant's technical specification (TS) requirements regarding heat flux hot channel factor, in accordance with Westinghouse Topical Report WCAP-17661-P-A, Revision 1, "Improved RAOC [Relaxed Axial Offset Control] and CAOC [Constant Axial Offset Control] FQ Surveillance Technical Specifications" (ADAMS Accession No. ML19225C138). SNC would also revise the TSs to implement TS Task Force (TSTF)-99, TSTF-241, and TSTF-290. TSTF-99 is to extend the Completion Time for Fq(w) not within limits from 2 hours to 4 hours. TSTF 241 is to allow time for stabilization after reducing power due to QPTR out of limit. TSTF-290 is for revisions to hot channel factor specifications.
