Purpose
The purpose of this meeting, between STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss a proposed COVID-19 related biennial emergency preparedness (EP) exercise exemption request for South Texas Project, Units 1 and 2. The proposed exemption request would defer the biennial EP exercise from October 2020 to 2021, nominally July.
