Purpose
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the proposed revision to Regulatory Guide (RG) 3.72, “Guidance for Implementation of 10 CFR 72.48, Changes, Tests, and Experiments,” for endorsement of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 12-04, “Guidelines for 10 CFR 72.48 Implementation,” Revision 2, dated September 2018. Topics at this workshop will include but not limited to discussions on the departure from method of evaluations, relationship between 10 CFR 72.48 and 10 CFR 72.212 evaluation reports and applying 10 CFR 72.48 to nonconforming or degraded conditions.
