Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the lessons learned since the issuance of RIS 2002-22, Supplement 1, "Clarification on Endorsement of Nuclear Energy Institute Guidance in Designing Digital Upgrades in Instrumentation and Control Systems." NRC staff will provide an overview of RIS 2002-22, Supplement 1, while industry provides examples and proposals for digital modifications using the guidance in the RIS.
