Fermi 2 is proposing to submit a License Amendment Request to use a risk-informed analysis of the impact of additional emergency core cooling system strainer debris that is beyond the current design basis values. Results of the analysis will provide the justification for the additional debris sources in the license amendment in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.174.
