Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

The purpose of this pre-submittal teleconference with the NRC staff is to discuss a risk-informed license amendment request to credit the Point Beach plant high winds PRA. The intent of this submittal would be to modify the station's current license basis to credit the high winds PRA as basis for eliminating the spectrum of high wind events as a hazard for the plant due to the small change in risk. This LAR, would provide the basis for resolving recently identified non-conformances with the station’s current license basis.
