Public Meeting Schedule: Meeting Details

This is the 2018 Natural Phenomena Hazards (NPH) meeting, which is being co-sponsored by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Department of Energy (DOE). The focus of the meeting is NRC, licensee, DOE, and contractor staff sharing information on NPH characterization and facility designs to mitigate hazards. Participation from other government and private sector organizations interested in the effects of NPH on nuclear facilities is also welcomed. The meeting will allow NPH experts and those responsible for NPH mitigation to share knowledge of NPH characterization and design in a focused setting.
